Patrick is the founder. He came from the year 5000, where the timeline had quietly forgotten how to send it. The first jump didn't survive. The battery died mid-flight and the run was lost. This — everything you're looking at — is the recovery run.
He holds the sword. He charts the route. He decides what stays canon and what gets cut. PartyBot5000 is the system he's building to make sure the future remembers how to dance, how to hydrate, and how to look out for each other on the way home.
